Gemuantong (300638) released its 2025 annual report on March 30, 2025. In 2025, it achieved total operating revenue of RMB 6.99B and net profit of RMB 347 million. On the same day, Gemuantong disclosed a proposed plan for the 2025 annual equity distribution, proposing to distribute RMB 2.34 per 10 shares, for a total cash dividend of RMB 210 million.

As far as it is understood, Gemuantong has long been committed to promoting wireless communication technologies and their application in the Internet of Things and mobile Internet, and expanding the application of its solutions. It has developed strong R&D capabilities in communication technology, RF technology, data transmission technology, and signal processing technology. It is a professional products and solutions provider in the field of wireless communication technology with independent intellectual property rights.

In 2025, Gemuantong achieved total operating revenue of RMB 6.99B. After excluding the impact of the Rayling Wireless vehicle-mounted pre-install wireless communication module business, operating revenue increased year over year by 0.24%. During the reporting period, the company’s revenue remained generally stable overall. Among them, revenue from the smart home and smart retail businesses maintained relatively strong growth, while revenue from the consumer electronics and automotive electronics businesses declined. During the reporting period, the company actively developed business areas such as “communications + computing” comprehensive solutions, on-device AI, and robots. The revenue share of intelligent modules and solutions continued to rise.

Since last year, Gemuantong has continued to adhere to independent R&D, continuously optimize and expand its product lines, and further improve its deployments in emerging fields such as AI, edge computing power, and intelligent robots. The company’s R&D investment reached RMB 509 million, accounting for 7.28% of the company’s operating revenue in 2025. As of the end of 2025, Gemuantong had 389 effective granted invention patents, 165 utility model patents, and 199 software copyright registrations. These mainly relate to technologies for cellular wireless communication modules and their applications, such as system updates, RF technology, data transmission, system testing, and hardware design.

Meanwhile, Gemuantong continues to focus on vertical Internet of Things industries, releasing a number of new products and solutions to enrich its product matrix and meet the IoT needs of different customers and market regions worldwide. At the same time, Gemuantong strengthens close cooperation with industry ecosystem partners. Facing a wider range of industry-side on-device AI applications, the company actively promotes the deployment of numerous high-quality large models in AI modules and solutions, empowering a broader set of IoT devices to become AI-enabled.

It is worth noting that on March 24 this year, Gemuantong released a major asset restructuring announcement. It plans to acquire control of Shenzhen Hangsheng Electronics Co., Ltd. (“Hangsheng Electronics” for short) by cash. The transaction price and the specific equity acquisition ratio will be further demonstrated and negotiated.

Hangsheng Electronics is a leading enterprise in China’s automotive electronics industry. According to data from GESIA Automotive Research Institute, in terms of the installed quantity among in-dash control screen integration suppliers, it ranks third in the industry; in terms of installed quantity among automotive LCD instrument cluster integration suppliers, it ranks eighth in the industry. Its customers include leading joint-venture automakers, as well as domestic brands and new-energy vehicle companies.

Industry insiders point out that Gemuantong has been deeply involved in vehicle-mounted wireless communication modules for many years and has long served domestic new energy vehicle makers. Hangsheng Electronics has also been deeply involved in Japanese-brand joint-venture brands and overseas markets for many years. The two sides have formed a high degree of complementarity and strategic synergy in their customer structures. After the completion of this acquisition, the two sides will connect a complete industrial chain from core components to system integration. Gemuantong has been deeply engaged in vehicle-mounted wireless communication modules for many years. By integrating downstream enterprises, it is expected to achieve a transformation from a vehicle-mounted communication module supplier to a full-stack automotive electronics solutions provider.
