Sei will cooperate with Xiaomi to pre-install Web3 payment applications on new smartphones worldwide

PANews December 10 News, according to Sei Network’s announcement, Sei will partner with the world’s third-largest smartphone manufacturer, Xiaomi, to pre-install the next-generation crypto wallet and discovery app powered by Sei on new Xiaomi phones sold outside mainland China and the United States. The app supports stablecoin payments, P2P transfers, and DApp access, and will also expand to Xiaomi’s global retail channels, totaling 20,000 stores. The initial markets for deployment are Hong Kong and the European Union, with the goal of launching by Q2 2026. Additionally, Sei announced the establishment of a $5 million Global Mobile Innovation Fund to accelerate the adoption of blockchain in consumer devices.
