The Malaysian police have seized an illegal Bitcoin mining gang, confiscating 45 mining rigs.
According to the Gate.io News bot, Malay Mail reported that the police in Terengganu, Malaysia, along with the TNB SEAL team, conducted a joint operation in Ulu Terengganu and Marang, seizing an illegal Bitcoin mining site.
Law enforcement officers seized 45 mining machines on site, with a total value of 225,000 ringgit (approximately 360,000 yuan). Investigations show that the gang engaged in illegal electricity connections at residential and commercial premises, causing a monthly loss of 36,000 ringgit to TNB.
