According to Wu, the modular DeFi lending market Loopscale built on Solana was attacked today at 11:30 AM EST, as the RateX PT token pricing function was manipulated, resulting in approximately 5.7 million USDC and 1,200 SOL being stolen, accounting for about 12% of the platform’s total funds. All markets have been suspended, and the team is working on restoring repayment functions to avoid unexpected liquidation, collaborating with law enforcement, security teams, and investors to recover the funds.
