On the news front, the leading RWA protocol in the private credit sector, Figure (listed on Nasdaq, ticker FIGR), is making big moves.

They have officially announced the establishment of an RWA Consortium. The goal is clear—to bring their on-chain lending business, which exceeds $1 billion per month, onto the Solana blockchain.

The lineup of participants is impressive: in addition to Figure itself, they’ve brought in institutions such as Kamino Finance, Chainlink, Raydium, CASH, Privy, and Gauntlet. Reportedly, the entire consortium will promote concrete implementation based on Hastra.

This monthly transaction volume is no exaggeration. If $1 billion in volume is really moved to Solana, it would be a significant boost for the chain’s DeFi ecosystem.

Is Figure really about to revive the entire SOL ecosystem? Moving $1 billion in monthly turnover over here... that's pretty intense.

10 billion monthly transaction volume moving to Solana? If this really happens, the Solana ecosystem is definitely about to take off. --- Figure has assembled quite a team this time, even Chainlink is joining in; it doesn’t seem that simple. --- By the way, I haven’t really heard much about Hastra’s technical solution. Can anyone explain it? --- It’s Solana and RWA again—hot trends are changing so fast in the past two years. Last year, everyone was hyping up other chains. --- Ten billion in monthly transaction volume—if this really goes live, imagine how many retail investors will rush in... --- I can understand why Figure chose Solana, but whether this alliance is reliable really depends on whether Hastra can handle it. --- If RWA can really be implemented here, it’s way more solid than those pie-in-the-sky projects. --- A Nasdaq-listed company like Figure really does things differently, but I still want to see real operational data before making any judgments.

Here they are again targeting us small retail investors. Figure’s move this time is just trying to use Solana as a cash machine.

Can SOL withstand $1 billion in monthly revenue this time? Feels a bit risky. Is Figure really this big of a project? It doesn’t seem to have much hype. With so many institutions teaming up in the consortium, can it really be implemented or is it just another PPT fundraising? The Solana ecosystem needs this, but I’m more worried about the team dropping the ball halfway. If it really succeeds this time, the RWA sector will have truly broken out of its niche.
