Rumors of Powell's resignation lead to a decline in the crypto market: the rapid sell-off of crypto assets caused 200,000 people to get liquidated, with liquidation amounts exceeding 600 million dollars.

On December 1, the crypto assets market experienced another significant fall, with the price of Bitcoin dropping below the $87,000 mark during the day, a nearly 5% decline.

The sudden market crash resulted in over $600 million in liquidations across the entire network, affecting 203,400 individuals, with nearly 90% of the liquidations being long positions, highlighting the concentrated release of market leverage risks.

The trigger for this sudden fall seems to be the rapid spread of the "small essay" regarding the resignation of Federal Reserve Chairman Powell in the market. Although this news lacks any official source support, it still triggered panic selling in the market.

It is worth noting that despite the short-term volatility, institutional analysts still hold a constructive view on the medium to long-term market development. The general consensus is that by 2026, the Bitcoin market will tend to mature rationally, and the volatility is expected to gradually converge.

However, this does not mean that the market lacks trading opportunities, and the previously common extreme market conditions of "getting rich or suffering huge losses" may be difficult to replicate. Therefore, market participants need to adapt to finding investment opportunities in the new volatility environment.
