Zelensky asks Trump for a request hoping to obtain a "new type of weapon".
Jin10 Data September 25th - On the 25th local time, Ukrainian President Zelensky stated in an interview with U.S. media Axios that he has received clear support from U.S. President Trump for striking Russian targets such as energy infrastructure and weapons manufacturing plants. Zelensky mentioned that he made a specific request to Trump regarding acquiring a new type of weapon system during their meeting. He believes that this system would force the Kremlin back to the negotiating table. Zelensky pointed out that President Trump knows Ukraine needs something, but that does not necessarily mean it will be used. However, if Ukraine acquires it, it would put additional pressure on Putin to sit down for negotiations. Zelensky declined to disclose what specific weapon it is but stated that Trump responded to him: “We will look into it.”
