Harborne also runs an aviation fuel business and has previously been reported as the largest financier of the Brexit Party, having donated £1.5 million to the Conservative Party in 2022. According to data from the UK Electoral Commission, the most recent donation from Habern to Farage was a trip worth £27,616, enabling him to "attend Donald Trump’s second inauguration." This gift made him the largest donor to Farage for 2025, with the only close amount being a trip donated by George Cotterell (a convicted criminal). Last year, Habern also donated £32,000 to support Farage's visit to see Trump, who was shot at a rally in Pennsylvania. Over the past year, Habern's total donations to Farage have approached £60,000.
