According to CME "FedWatch" data, prior to the announcement of initial jobless claims, the probability of the Fed cutting interest rates by 25 basis points in September is currently reported at 87.2%, while the probability of maintaining the interest rate is 12.8%. The probability of the Fed maintaining the interest rate until October is 6.2%, while the cumulative probability of a 25 basis point cut is 49%, and the cumulative probability of a 50 basis point cut is 44.7%. The dates for the next two FOMC meetings are September 17 and October 29.
