Kraken pauses Monero deposit due to 51% Attack
BlockBeats news, on August 17, according to the official announcement, Kraken has suspended deposits for Monero (XMR) as a security precaution, due to the detection of a single Mining Pool that has gained over 50% of the total Computing Power of the network. This concentration of Computing Power could pose a potential risk to the integrity of the network. Kraken is monitoring the situation and will resume deposits once safety is confirmed. Trading and withdrawals of XMR continue to operate normally.
