Overview of Sui Liquid Staking Hackathon Finalist Projects

After more than 40 days of registration and rigorous selection, the finalists of the Sui liquid staking hackathon have finally been unveiled. Six teams from each track successfully advanced to Demo Day. Let's get to know these outstanding projects.

Shortlisted Projects

1. Aftermath Finance A one-stop decentralized trading platform built on Sui Move, offering CLOB settlement for spot, perpetual contracts, and options, as well as features like CMMM for long-tail assets and indices.

2. DegenHive Combining the innovative governance model of centralized liquidity DEX and NFTs, we are committed to unleashing the potential of $SUI on the Sui network.

3. Haedal Protocol Based on the Sui liquid staking protocol, users can stake $SUI to obtain haSUI, which allows them to contribute to ecological governance while also participating in DeFi activities to earn additional rewards.

4. Interest Protocol DeFi protocols that support swapping and lending allow liquidity providers to use LP tokens as collateral to borrow stablecoins like Sui Dollar, in order to hedge against impermanent loss.

5. SUISA Allows users to stake $SUI to obtain stSUI in the DeFi protocol, and stSUI can also be used to mint NFTs.

6. Volo The liquid staking solution on Sui maximizes the utility and liquidity of SUI for users by providing voloSUI.

LST DeFi and tools

1. Aftermath Finance Same as above.

2. Bucket Protocol The CDP protocol on Sui has non-custodial, immutable, and governance-free characteristics, allowing users to obtain the required tokens at zero interest by using $SUI, $BTC, $ETH, and LST as collateral.

3. Desig Provide a multi-signature solution applicable to the entire chain, compatible with all DApps on both EVM and non-EVM chains.

4. Kana Labs User-friendly applications aimed at DeFi and GameFi, dedicated to collaboratively building the web3 future.

5. Legato Provide fixed interest rate protection for liquid staking assets and predict the solution for interest rate fluctuations on Sui.

6. Wisp Swap Decentralized trading and prediction markets on Sui, utilizing an asymmetric concentrated liquidity DEX with automatically adjusted parameters, employ the Ve (3,3) economic design model to forecast decentralized markets.

• Participating teams: 10 minutes per team (5 minutes for presentation + 5 minutes for Q&A)
• Sponsors Showcase: including Alibaba Cloud, MoveBit, OtterSec, etc.

Review Criteria

• The jury is selected from ecosystem partners, sponsors, etc. by the Sui Foundation and its collaborators.
• Use preset scoring criteria to calculate the total score after removing the highest and lowest scores.
• Determine the winners of each award using standardized average scores
• The results of the competition will be announced on October 2.
