Deep Tide TechFlow News: On January 6, according to Hong Kong Economic Daily, the Hong Kong Securities and Futures Commission (SFC) stated that investors have reported difficulties withdrawing assets from Globiance X Limited and Globiance HK Limited.
In previous reports, the Hong Kong SFC issued a notice reminding the public to beware of unlicensed virtual asset trading platforms Globiance X Limited or Globiance HK Limited, as well as CoinCola (可盈可乐), which claim to operate virtual asset trading platforms in Hong Kong but do not hold SFC licenses. These are suspected of conducting unlicensed activities and have been added to the SFC’s warning list along with their related websites.
The Hong Kong SFC stated that unlicensed platforms are not regulated by the SFC, and investor protection is extremely limited, with investors potentially facing total loss of funds.
