Wu Shuo has learned that Startale Group announced the completion of a $63 million Series A round of funding, with SBI Group investing $50 million and Sony Innovation Fund investing $13 million in January 2026. This round of funding will be used to advance its on-chain infrastructure layout covering Ethereum Layer 2, stablecoin issuance, and tokenized securities. The company previously collaborated with SBI to launch Strium, a Layer 1 network for RWA and securities trading, as well as JPYSC, a Japanese yen stablecoin.
