Nikita has a tricky balance to strike. Making the algo intuitive for newcomers while keeping power users engaged is genuinely hard. Here's the thing though—longtime active users probably deserve some protection. Once you've invested serious time building your presence, having the whole algorithm suddenly shift under your feet feels rough. Maybe the algo could be more resistant to change for established users, while staying dynamic for newer people discovering the platform. That would reward loyalty and keep things stable for the people who matter most.

Speaking of which, I quite agree with this idea. Long-term users should indeed have some privileges.

Algorithms are really a dilemma—protecting old users or supporting newcomers... But I think long-term players should indeed have some privileges.

Algorithms, to put it simply, are about giving old users a guarantee.

The feeling of being betrayed by old users is indeed a bit hurtful.

NGL, this idea is quite right. Long-term users should indeed have some protection, or what's the point of wasting so much time?
