Miller Value Partners Chief Investment Officer: Bitcoin's Technical Outlook Improving, May Be Ready for Another Rally
January 6 – Miller Value Partners Chief Investment Officer Bill Miller IV stated that Bitcoin's current technical setup is improving and price action "appears ready to launch again." In a CNBC interview, he noted that from a technical perspective, Bitcoin could break through its previous highs, linking this assessment to changes in the US regulatory environment and Wall Street's continued on-chain infrastructure development.
Miller IV mentioned SEC Chair Paul Atkins' remarks on capital markets gradually migrating on-chain, as well as traditional financial institutions including JPMorgan Chase continuing to build on-chain infrastructure. He also stated that Bitcoin's previous period of pullback and underperformance versus gold is not unusual, and given its volatility, the price should be observed over longer-term cycles. According to CoinGecko data, Bitcoin is currently trading around 93,750 USD, down from last year's all-time high but still showing gains since 2026 onwards.
