After Being Granted Clemency, CZ Ready to Help Trump Make the US the Capital of the Crypto World
After receiving a pardon from US President Donald Trump, the founder of the giant crypto exchange Changpeng Zhao (CZ) expressed gratitude to the US President for granting him freedom in the money laundering charges case.
"I am very grateful for the pardon today and to President Trump for upholding the U.S. commitment to justice and innovation," wrote CZ on his X page, Thursday, (23/10).
After receiving a pardon from Trump, CZ stated that he is very ready to assist the 47th President of the United States in making the US a global crypto hub and advancing web3 worldwide. This is in line with his influence in the crypto industry today.
"We will do everything we can to help make America the Crypto Capital and advance web3 around the world," CZ continued.
As is known, Zhao is a billionaire who is also one of the most influential figures in the crypto sector. For your information, CZ claims that his portfolio is currently in BNB, and 1.32% in Bitcoin (BTC).
This means that CZ is estimated to hold more than 64% of the supply or 147.5 million BNB tokens, especially since BNB is currently at the level of US$1.134 with an increase of 5.81% over the last 24 hours, which allows CZ's ownership to be quite substantial.
