The controlling shareholder of Walnut Capital donated 10 million CP Tokens to its subsidiary.

[Coin World] According to the announcement, Walnut Capital Limited donated CP Token to its wholly-owned subsidiary Kuran Holdings Limited on August 30, 2025, by Mr. Meng Pinwen, the executive director and controlling shareholder. Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing Limited and Hong Kong Stock Exchange Limited do not take any responsibility for the contents of the announcement.

According to the gift deed, Mr. Meng Pinwen (holding 56% of the issued shares of Walnut Capital through Linghua Investment Holdings Limited) irrevocably and unconditionally transfers 10,000,000 CoinUp (CP) Tokens to Crown Holdings, which is not required to pay any consideration and bears no obligation for repayment, only owning the token ownership. Currently, CP Tokens are mainly used and traded on a certain cryptocurrency exchange.

Walnut Capital Group plans to retain this batch of Tokens as reserves or cash them out at an appropriate time. The group will not confirm income from this donation; the Tokens will be classified as capital appreciation assets and listed as intangible assets in the financial statements.
