WLFI TGE initial circulation may reach 27.3 billion coins, far exceeding expectations and causing controversy.
On September 1st, according to monitoring, a certain data platform page shows that the verified WLFI TGE initial circulation is 27.3 billion pieces. This number is much higher than the previously estimated theoretical circulation value of 5 billion pieces. Based on the current contract price of 0.3599 USD, the opening sell pressure will be 9.83 billion USD.
An analyst stated that the algorithm of the data platform calculates by subtracting the tokens of the team / advisors / partners / Lockbox from the total supply of tokens, which means that all strategic round tokens are counted as circulating, which seems to be inaccurate. Currently, the data platform has not responded to this.
