Recently, Kite AI teamed up with renowned researcher Teng Yan to publish a thought-provoking article titled "Kite AI: Where Agents Act, Not Ask." This article prompted me to reflect on the current state of the AI agent field, especially in the context of the booming development of various AI/Agent projects.
The application of AI and agent technology in the field of cryptocurrency has a history of one to two years. During this period, we have witnessed the emergence of various projects, covering everything from infrastructure such as data, storage, and computing power, to lightweight applications like AI agents and development toolkits, as well as well-known concepts of various Agent projects.
However, these projects generally face several key challenges:
First, there are difficulties in market promotion and user acquisition. In today's environment dominated by attention economics, attracting and retaining user attention has become a key challenge for every project. Many AI/Agent project teams are primarily composed of technical experts, which makes them relatively lacking in grasping market trends and formulating product promotion strategies, directly impacting the profitability of the projects.
Secondly, there are issues of safety and credibility concerning AI agents. Humans inherently have a sense of vigilance and distrust towards new things, especially when facing advanced technologies like AI. Establishing user trust in AI agents and ensuring the safety of their operations is one of the key factors for the success of the project.
Kite AI's innovative solutions seem to provide new ideas for these issues. Their proposed concept of 'actions over inquiries' may point to a new direction for the development of AI agents. This approach could not only improve the practicality and efficiency of AI agents but also build user trust through actual actions.
With the continuous advancement of technology and the gradual maturation of the market, we have reason to believe that these challenges in the field of AI agents will eventually be resolved. In the future, we may see more innovative solutions like Kite AI driving the entire industry forward.
