Unlike forex and stocks there's no down time in crypto trading, Its 24/7
And volume doesn't dissipate, it rotates. There's always an opportunity, you just need to define what you're looking for.
I often get higher ROI on weekends. Probably because there aren't any 'breaking news' every hour causing indecision in the markets.
From my perspective it seem whales commit to their decision to buy or sell a bit longer versus weekdays so the market is less likely to change the main trend quickly unless it's significantly high or low/ overbought/oversold.
Also, its better to trade altcoins on the weekend versus bitcoin. Bitcoin actually doesn't move much or fast on weekends unless there is a trending narrative. I reckon its market cap is too big for weekend trading, it requires a lot more capital to move a few %.
It tends to move almost always when the etf guys start to trade. Just before they open trading the market likes to fakeout then as soon as ETF trading is active it decides on direction of the day.
Hope this info helps.
