Stocks vs Crypto, for example
The dumbest argument is that crypto gives a 30% move in 1 day, and stock gives 3% move.
The volatility is supposed to be measured relatively.
You get 3% upside move; however, your downside move is also limited in stocks
If crypto can rise 30% in a day, it can even fall 50% in one day.
This is like comparing strike rate of a batter in T20, vs strike rate of another batter in Test cricket.
