In the course of human social development, what truly drives progress is not merely technological innovation, but the evolution of identification systems. The reason we can travel across countries, use credit cards, and even develop a sense of patriotism is because identity can be proven, transmitted, recognized, and accompliced.

However, in the current Web3 world, we are facing a unique challenge. Although we play various roles on different blockchains—perhaps as collectors on Polygon, art sponsors on Zora, protocol governors on Arbitrum, or incentive testers on Starknet—we cannot prove our identification across different chains.

This situation has led to a paradox: we have abundant on-chain data, yet we lack a true "on-chain identification." We have accumulated a wealth of experience and achievements, but we cannot prove our past in the new blockchain environment. Every time we enter a new blockchain ecosystem, it feels as if we are stepping into an entirely new country, yet we have no passport to validate our identity and history.

It is against this backdrop that Lagrange was born. It is not another blockchain, not a new crypto wallet, nor a project incentivized by tokens. Instead, Lagrange is the infrastructure for on-chain identification, its importance comparable to the passports issued by the United Nations or the compilation of human knowledge by Wikipedia.

The emergence of Lagrange provides Web3 users with a cross-chain identification system. It consolidates users' activity records across multiple blockchains such as Zora, Polygon, and Scroll to create a comprehensive on-chain identification profile. This allows users to seamlessly transition between different blockchain ecosystems while retaining and showcasing their achievements and contributions.

Through Lagrange, Web3 users can finally possess roots, proof, and voice in the blockchain universe. It not only addresses the technical issues of identification but, more importantly, it brings a new identification system to the Web3 world, which is expected to promote the entire ecosystem towards a more mature and interconnected direction.

With the emergence of projects like Lagrange, we can expect the Web3 world to gradually overcome the challenge of identity fragmentation, forming a more unified and coherent user experience. This will not only enhance the convenience of user participation but also open up new possibilities for cross-chain collaboration and innovation, ultimately driving the entire blockchain industry forward.
