The analyst listed expectations for Ethereum (ETH), Solana (SOL), and XRP for the remainder of 2025!

Bitcoin continues to set new records, while the long-awaited altcoin season has yet to begin. As investors eagerly await the altcoin season, Wave Digital Assets CEO David Siemer shared his expectations.

David Siemer, who participated in the Milk Road podcast, said that the bull market will continue for the rest of the year and that Bitcoin will dominate the bull.

The analyst stated that the market will be driven by institutional adoption and dominated by Bitcoin for the remainder of the year.

"Currently, no institution is purchasing anything other than Bitcoin. However, Ethereum has also started to attract institutional interest."

Siemer, who also explained his expectations regarding altcoins besides Bitcoin, stated that Ethereum, Solana, and XRP are also good options.

Ethereum is a Solid Option!

While Ethereum ranks first in the table as the largest altcoin, it does not rank first in terms of performance.

In the face of the rise of faster and cheaper alternatives, interest in Ethereum has shifted to layer-2 solutions such as Polygon, Arbitrum, and Optimism.

However, the analyst stated that Ethereum's security and uptime remain unique, mentioning that Ethereum's recent update, Pecrta, has eliminated the technical barriers to the rise. According to the analyst, ETH may obtain newer opportunities in terms of price performance.

XRP is Continuing Quietly!

According to the analyst, XRP is supported by Ripple's corporate partnerships and particularly by its progress in regulatory clarity following its legal victory against the SEC.

This also allows the analyst to remain optimistic about XRP. The analyst, noting that there are upcoming developments that could trigger a new rally in XRP, also expressed confidence in the strength of the XRP community.

"The XRP community will help XRP reach its previous all-time high of approximately $3.50 again with real and consistent purchases from the community."

Solana (SOL) Major Competitor!

Solana experienced new peaks due to the memecoin frenzy, but the analyst pointed out that the token launches sourced from FTX are obstacles in front of the SOL rally.

Despite these challenges, the analyst stated that Solana will continue to be a favorite with transaction times under a second and negligible fees.

The analyst also added that, provided there are no major technical disruptions like the occasional network outages experienced in the past, Solana could be one of the standout performers in 2025.
