According to Techub News, as reported by Cointelegraph, stablecoin issuer Circle has partnered with Onafriq, Africa's largest payment gateway, to use USDC to drop the high costs of cross-border payments on the African continent.
Circle plans to pilot settlements within the extensive Onafriq network, which connects over 500 wallets and 200 million bank accounts across more than 40 countries.
