BlockBeats 消息，4 月 4 日，稳定币发行商 Tether 正推动投资者在未来两周内参与其新一轮融资，目标估值高达 5000 亿美元；若市场需求不足，公司可能选择推迟融资计划。
该估值将使 Tether 跻身全球最大金融机构行列，仅次于 JPMorgan Chase，并超过 Bank of America。目前，其核心产品 USDT 市值约为 1840 亿美元，为全球最大稳定币。
此前消息称，Tether 曾考虑通过私募融资筹集 150 亿至 200 亿美元资金，估值约 5000 亿美元，但公司 CEO Paolo Ardoino 曾表示相关数字更多属于假设性讨论。不过，其仍多次为该估值辩护，称公司盈利能力可对标 AI 等高增长行业。
此外，Tether 正推进审计进程。据报道，公司已聘请 KPMG 进行 USDT 储备的首次全面审计，PwC 参与内部系统准备工作。此举被视为提升透明度的重要一步。
