Gate News 消息，3 月 12 日，Coindesk 分析师 Omkar Godbole 表示，彭博社重申其预测比特币可能下跌至 10,000 美元，这是自 2020 年中期以来未见的价格水平，但业内观察人士认为这一预测过于荒谬。在最大加密期权交易平台 Deribit 上，约有 8 亿美元的未平仓头寸集中在 20,000 美元的看跌期权上，押注价格将跌破该水平，这是该平台第四受欢迎的看跌押注，表明部分交易员正在为可能的暴跌做准备。
Deribit 全球零售销售负责人 Sidrah Fariq 表示，大多数头寸更像是卖出看跌期权，而非方向性多头对冲，交易员经常卖出远离价外的看跌期权，因为触及这些水平的概率很低。
