Jinshi Data News on March 19th, the judge Anna Reyes in the United States approved the preliminary injunction request filed by active-duty transgender soldiers and transgender applicants. This ruling will temporarily prohibit Secretary of Defense Pete Heggseth and the various services from implementing the executive order signed by President Trump and subsequent guidance documents, which banned transgender individuals from serving in the U.S. military. Reyes stated in the ruling that the defendants failed to provide a legitimate reason to prohibit all transgender soldiers from serving. Reyes stated that she would postpone the effective date of the ruling until March 21st to allow the Department of Justice time to appeal to the U.S. Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit.
