The purpose of this exercise is to deepen the level of strategic cooperation between the Chinese and Russian militaries and enhance their ability to jointly respond to security threats. In addition, Chinese and Russian naval fleets will organize their 5th joint maritime cruise in the relevant waters of the Pacific, and China will also participate in the Russian military's 'Ocean-2024' strategic exercise.
