Venus protocol suffered a $30 million attack incident.
According to Gate News bot, on-chain data shows that the DeFi lending protocol Venus suffered a loss of approximately $30 million during a market attack event. The stablecoin VAI within the protocol has shown a significant deviation from its pegged price. The attacker exploited a vulnerability in the protocol to obtain a large amount of funds during this attack.
The Venus team is currently working with the security team to investigate and address the incident. To protect user asset security, the protocol has suspended certain functions.
