On August 29, Bloomberg reported that the encryption trading platform CEX Global Inc. is at the forefront of a recovery wave providing loans to crypto mining companies secured by Bitcoin. CEX is rapidly becoming one of the largest lenders to Bitcoin mining companies in the United States. The platform is better known for its trading and accomplice services, but it has now provided hundreds of millions of dollars in credit to companies such as Riot Platforms, CleanSpark, and the latest, Hut 8, filling the void left after most crypto lenders collapsed in 2022.
