The number of ETH queued to exit the Ethereum PoS network has surpassed 1 million, setting a new historical record.

On August 27, according to data from the validator queue tracking website validatorqueue, the current number of exits from the Ethereum PoS network has risen to 1,012,296, valued at approximately $4.666 billion, with withdrawal latency extended to 17 days and 14 hours. Meanwhile, around 581,233 ETH are queued to join the network. Previous reports indicated that this situation reflects two opposing forces in the market: on one hand, some stakers may have chosen to lock in profits after a significant rise in Ethereum since its low in April, leading to a surge in exit queues; on the other hand, new funds driven by favorable regulatory information and institutional demand are also pushing up the entry queue, as public companies like SharpLink Gaming and BitMine Immersion increase their holdings of ETH and stake.
