🔥 Day 8 Hot Topic: XRP ETF Goes Live
REX-Osprey XRP ETF (XRPR) to Launch This Week! XRPR will be the first spot ETF tracking the performance of the world’s third-largest cryptocurrency, XRP, launched by REX-Osprey (also the team behind SSK). According to Bloomberg Senior ETF Analyst Eric Balchunas,
Everyone is talking about the benefits of Aptos, but the ecosystem and coin price have not risen. I have been thinking recently about how an established public chain like Aptos @Aptos, known for its technology, will break through.
As one of the "leading" public chains that is not an EVM chain, Aptos chain has a peak TPS of 12,933, which is three times that of SOL and 100 times that of Sui, but its TVL is far less than that of Solana and Sui.
The dilemma of ecology and users is a challenge that any public chain will face. The cold start of whether the chicken or the egg came first is a predicament that most projects encounter, after all, not all projects are born with a golden key. As a saying goes, both hands must be grasped, and both hands must be strong.
The biggest problem with Aptos right now is that the wealth creation effect is not strong enough. Last time Hyperion
@hyperion_xyz has made a good start, but the influence is not enough; it at least needs to reach the level of impact like the Sui chain.
Since it's not easy to compete for the retail market like Solana and Sui right now, why not focus more on promoting institutional users? Aptos has such a high TPS peak that it can definitely focus on promoting the RWA and stablecoin sectors.
Aptos has currently attracted $7.19B in assets in the RWA field, including traditional financial giants such as BlackRock BUIDL and Franklin Templeton; the stablecoin ecosystem has reached a market value of $1.18B, along with its own Circle CCTP (Cross-Chain Transfer Protocol), which can seamlessly facilitate 1:1 cross-chain transfers of native USDC across 10 chains.
The road has been paved, and the next step is to build supporting facilities.
- Some major Defi products on the market, one after another, are collaborating in bulk (AAVE has already partnered with Aptos) to generate continuous returns on-chain, retaining users and funds.
- The native protocol must provide enough resources for support, including VC investment introduction, traffic support, ecological fund support, etc., to retain the developers of the native protocol.
- Deeply cooperate with traditional large financial institutions in the real world for RWA business, while establishing a native protocol as the hallmark of Aptos RWA, quickly promoting it, and making a strong impression with a rapid TGE (referencing AVANT @avantisfi).
- While stablecoins collaborate with existing large stablecoin issuers, they promote AptosPay to connect with enterprise-level payments or potentially engage with some large consumer-level applications (similar to @KaiaChain integrating with Line). Venturing into the PayFi business is also a possibility, preferably with support from a native protocol.
With RWA and stablecoins gaining popularity this year, Aptos needs to seize the opportunity!
